Wind movement, Blurred images have recently become acceptable once more, for years photographers have benefited by the advances made by lens makers, by improvements in glass quality, coating and speed to produce sharp define images. In this image I have used nothing more exiting than wind to introduce movement into an otherwise static subject. The camera was set up on a tripod and a long exposure was guaranteed by setting a small aperture. I focused on the trunk of the tree which would normally render everything sharp from front to back, due to the aperture. However due to the long exposure time, 3 seconds, even with a very slight breeze, there was enough movement in the leaves to produce a pleasing blur to the foliage.
