Daddy's girl.

I took this portrait of my daughter when she was 8 years old, an age when all daughters think their father knows everything, it's a pity that has to change.

The portrait was illuminated with a single flash light bounced into an umbrella to produce a soft shadowless effect. The original colour negative film was scanned into the computer and desaturated in photoshop. I then created a new layer filled with grey and added noise to this layer and reduced the opacity until I achieved the desired image.
