Dressage - Witton le Wear, Co. Durham.

I took this photograph whilst attending the second day of a competitive Three day event competition! The event was being held at Witton Castle in Weardale, as a round of the British Eventing Premier league championship. I enjoyed the delicate imagery of the dressage competition which complemented the more aggressive competitive show jumping and X country rounds.

The image was converted to monochrome using my favourite method, of using two Hue / Saturation adjustment layers. The top layer is desaturated and its blending option is changed to colour, the base layer is then manipulated by moving the Hue or Saturation to produce a vaariety of tones of grey.
