Tantobie Lorry,

All these images were taken of one old abandoned lorry close to my home. These are definitely an environmental nightmare as their various oils and liquids leak, rust and rot into the land. However they are a magnet for photographers, who are attracted to them for their textures and like good wine, they improve with age.

This wonderful rusting wreck is less than 10 metres from the road on two sides, but is largely unseen by the many road users. I don't know how long it has been in-situ but I think it wont be long before it completely disappears under the enveloping vegetation.
