Caught......

This image was taken at the Whitby Goth Festival in April 2007. A quieter weekend than the main event in October each year. Still the whole town is taken over by Goths from all over the UK and further a field.

This was a straight photograph of a young girl who I isolated by using a wall as a background. Her cardigan was naturally falling open and when I asked her to lean against the wall she held her arms up to stop the cardigan from falling further. I then added a dark vignette in photoshop to further enhance the pose.
