Argument Yard,

This image was taken at the Whitby Goth Festival in April 2007. A quieter weekend than the main event in October each year. Still the whole town is taken over by Goths from all over the UK and further a field.

a straight photograph of a rather frightening looking goth. I was attracted by his glasses and overuse of the face powder, I positioned him in a shady doorway to control the contrast between his face and the blackness of his hair and cloths. I then asked him to raise his hands to show off his walking stick and rings!
