This image was taken at the Whitby Goth Festival in October 2006. It is a great weekend when the whole town is taken over by Goths from all over the UK and further a field.

I wanted to photograph this man both by for his outfit and his eyes, as he was wearing red contact lens. I de-saturated the main image and superimposed a close up of his face showing his coloured contacts. I completed the image by adding a misty moon to the background.
